RESEARCH
My research examines how gender, race, and class stereotypes shape individual experiences in the workplace, largely within science and technology fields. In my dissertation work, I highlight how job searches serve to instruct job seekers in heavily gendered and classed conceptions of the ideal worker, alienating women and students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds from lucrative fields like computer science.
